A Safran center of excellence in low-pressure compressors for turbofan engines.

Safran Aero Boosters is the world leader in the design, manufacture and assembly of low-pressure compressors and front bearing supports for turbofan engines. The company is also specialized in the manufacture and assembly of fan disks, thus confirming its status as an expert on the front sections of turbofan engines.

Working in partnership with engine manufacturers, Safran Aero Boosters equips most commercial aviation engines across the entire thrust range - from the largest long-haul engines to turbofan engines for medium-haul airliners, small engines for regional airlines and, more recently, business aviation. By contributing to the financing of new engines in association with engine manufacturers, the company takes full industrial responsibility for modules and/or equipment, which can represent up to 10% of the finished engine.

Safran Aero Boosters is currently developing 4 low-pressure compressors and equipment for the CFMi LEAP engine (for the forthcoming A320 NEO, B737 Max engines and the Chinese C919 aircraft), the Safran Aircraft Engines Silvercrest (for the Cessna Longitude and Falcon 5X), the General Electric Passport (for the Bombardier Global 7000-8000), and the General Electric GE9X (for the B777x).

Because tomorrow begins today, Safran Aero Boosters invests approximately 20% of its revenue in Research, Technologies and Development.
