New order of helicopter test equipment
Safran Test Cells, subsidiary of Safran Aero Boosters specialized in test cells, has just been selected by the Korean engine manufacturer Hanwha Techwin to supply test equipment intended to make their turboshaft test cell ready to carry out production testing for the Arriel 2L2 engine.
Developed and manufactured with Safran Helicopter Engines, Arriel 2L2 will power Korea's future civil and military light helicopters.
The contract provides for Safran Test Cells to supply the mechanical chassis including the water dynamometer, flywheel, drive line and engine adapter, ancillary hydraulic systems as well as the latest version of our CYRES V8 acquisition system.
