Techspace Aero gets behind art and culture
Co-legia, a corporate patronage collective of which Techspace Aero is a proud member, is lending financial support to creative artistic and cultural projects in Liège for the third year running. The collective will be giving its backing to up to three cultural projects that best encapsulate its ambition: start, encourage or bolster Liège-based creative initiatives in artistic and cultural spheres.
In addition to providing financial support, Co-legia also seeks to nurture artistic talent and bring stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds together.
Co-legia is coordinated by Prométhéa, a not-for-profit corporate-patronage organization made up of Apruzzese, Greish, Henry & Mersch, Cecoforma, CMI, Entreprises Lagrou, Les Films de la Passerelle, PYM, Semaco, Techspace Aero and Yvan Paque.
Submissions for the 2015 call for projects close on May 31, with the award ceremony taking place in October 2015.
Past winners to receive support from Co-legia include Créahm, which helps people with disabilities develop their artistic talents, and the Fédération des Maisons de Jeunes en Belgique Francophone, which created a show entitled "Une Autre Aïda", featuring 80 young people from 14 youth centers with the help of professionals from the Royal Liège Opera House.
